Carole has worked as an Embryologist since 1988 when the IVF program at the Ottawa Hospital was first opened. She was a Senior Embryologist and a Research Embryologist at Ottawa Hospital for 15 years, then the Laboratory Director at the Victoria Fertility Centre. Carole holds a science degree with a specialty in cell biology and certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in Clinical Chemistry. She was among the first embryologists in Canada to learn ICSI and has attended an advanced course in embryo biopsy and PGD. She has also completed and successfully passed the ESHRE Andrology course.

Educated in Scotland, Jill holds a B.Sc. in Applied Biology, with Honours in Applied Microbiology. She has more than 15 years experience as a Registered Cytogenetic Technologist in both research and diagnostic labs in Scotland and Ontario, with a special interest in prenatal diagnosis. After completing a Certificate Program in Assisted Reproductive Technologies from the Michener Institute in Toronto in 2001, she joined Genesis Fertility Centre in Vancouver, where she worked for 5 years.

Abby joined PCRM in the summer of 2007. She is originally from Prince George, B.C. and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and a Medical Laboratory Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. Abby comes to PCRM with clinical laboratory experience from Burnaby Hospital Laboratory, Prince George Regional Hospital Laboratory and London, Ontario’s Gamma-Dynacare Laboratory.

Jason joined PCRM in 2008 in an effort to expand our operations, and bring increased andrology expertise to the centre. Jason has a bachelor of science, and grew up in the Vancouver region. He has extensive experience in research, and industry parternships. Jason brings a great energy and drive to his work at PCRM.

Jina did her BSc at Simon Fraser University, in molecular biology and biochemistry. Her work in the biomedical field has ranged from research in dementia, to the industry development of anti-cancer drugs.  Her meticulous nature and attention to detail are greatly appreciated and integrated into our laboratory systems. Jina brings a great deal of analytical strength to PCRM.
