OUR TECHNOLOGY

PCRM’s laboratory was constructed to optimize embryo growth for IVF applications. Our lab was designed and commissioned by Oozoa Biomedical Incorporated, who are recognized as authorities on quality assurance for IVF and Andrology laboratories. Oozoa has designed many highly successful labs around the world with a strong emphasis on air quality and risk management.

For the protection of embryos and human tissue, we have a sophisticated security and monitoring system, with an high capacity generator for 7 day back-up power supply.

We use the latest electronic record keeping to ensure accuracy and continuity on your file between practitioners. Digital MD’s software "DOC" has earned the highest honor amongst health care providers, receiving the Microsoft Health Users Group Award of the Year in 2006.

For accurate screening, PCRM uses state-of-the-art ultrasound, with 3D and real time 3D (also known as 4D) imaging for fertility and pregnancy ultrasounds. We have three ultrasound machines utilized for a variety of procedures and screens.

PCRM’s interior design will make your visit relaxing, calming, and enjoyable – all required for optimizing fertility. Our design flows through to our staff, whose primary objective is to ensure that patient-focused care is delivered in a sensitive and caring manner.  We have also incorporated several smaller consulting areas, to preserve the discretion of our clientelle.

OUR EXPERIENCE

Our staff are drawn from a history of global excellence in Fertility care. Our Physicians, nurses and laboratory scientists have a wealth of experience to optimize your results. PCRM pioneered the only first trimester screening program certified by Fetal Medicine International in British Columbia, for the provision of nuchal translucency testing, and nasal bone determination for evaluation of genetic disorders in pregnancy. In addition, we offer on site laboratory screening blood work to further increase the detection rates of the First Trimester Screen to 90-95%.

OUR INTERFACE

Our physicians are active in the Fraser Health regional medical staff. We interface with hospitals, our colleagues, and affiliated centres in medical and alternative health care.

OUR PHARMACY

PCRM is the first and only fertility clinic in BC with a licensed pharmacy for our patients requiring reproductive medication. This guarantees close continuity and instruction between the prescribing physician and our patients, minimizing dispensing error. By regulation, we have a dedicated link to Pharmanet. We are able to also work with insurance companies to assist with claims.
