Dr. Eryn Rubenfeld

Reproductive Endocrinologist / Fertility Specialist

Ever since I was 4 years old, my dream has been to help bring new life into the world. After completing medical school and an OB/GYN residency program in Manitoba followed by an infertility fellowship in Quebec, I remain deeply humbled by the opportunity to guide individuals and couples through their unique fertility journeys each day. With a profound belief in patient-centered care, I truly enjoy teaching my patients as well as addressing their specific questions and concerns, empowering them with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their care. Transparency is paramount to me—not just sharing what we know but also being honest about the evolving nature of this field and acknowledging what we have yet to discover. While evidence-based medicine remains the cornerstone of my practice, I am always open to learning about new and evolving techniques that could help patients achieve their goals.

Some areas of special interest for me include: fertility preservation, ovarian tissue cryopreservation, premature ovarian insufficiency, recurrent pregnancy loss, recurrent implantation failure, poor ovarian response, in vitro maturation, and reproductive immunology. We have come a long way in the field of reproductive medicine over the last 45 years, and I can’t wait to see how today’s research will pave the way for novel and exciting technologies with even higher success rates down the road.

I want my patients to know that their input is valued, and their experiences will be heard. I am committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment, where patients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and helping us to continually enhance the patient experience. It is an honour to be a part of my patients' journeys, and I want everyone in my care to feel the unwavering support, encouragement, and dedication that I bring to ensuring their infertility journey is made a little less lonely, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
