Dr. Phil Bach

Urologist

Dr. Phil Bach did his undergraduate training at McGill University before pursuing his medical degree and specialty training in Urology at the University of Alberta. He then completed a fellowship in Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City.

Upon finishing his training, he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Division of Urology at the University of Alberta. His main urological practice is based out of the Dianne and Irving Kipnes Urology Centre and the University of Alberta Hospital. Dr. Bach is board-certified in Urology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Urology.

Dr. Bach’s clinical and research areas of expertise are in male factor infertility and sexual dysfunction. He has published numerous scientific papers and book chapters and presented his research at national and international conferences. He also enjoys teaching all levels of medical learners both directly and via the development of educational tools.
