New Semen Analysis Protocol Available at PCRM Victoria

Effective July 6, 2026, patients who choose to complete their Semen Analysis or Semen Analysis with Sperm Antibodies at PCRM Victoria will have the cost of the test applied as a credit to their account. This credit may be used toward a future IUI or IVF treatment cycle and is valid for one year from the date of testing.

Please note:

• The credit applies only to patients proceeding with fertility treatment as a couple or to single male patients pursuing fertility treatment with the goal of conceiving.
• Patients referred solely for a semen analysis are not eligible for this credit. If they are later re-referred for fertility treatment with a partner, the original semen analysis fee cannot be applied toward treatment.
• Semen Analysis with Sperm Antibodies should only be booked when:
  • It has been ordered by one of our REI physicians;
  • It has been specifically requested by the referring physician; or
  • The patient requests the test and meets one or more of the following criteria:
    • Prior IUI or IVF treatment failure
    • History of testicular trauma
    • History of vasectomy reversal
• SFA is not included in this credit program.

This process change supports our patients in accessing testing more quickly. It also allows patients to apply the cost of testing toward future treatment rather than incurring an out-of-pocket expense.
