Before Your Appointment
Before you can book an appointment at our Burnaby clinic, you'll need a referral from your family doctor or a doctor at your local walk-in clinic. Your doctor can fax this referral to us, and once received, our team will contact you to schedule a consultation with one of our fertility specialists.
When we reach out to arrange your first consultation, we'll confirm your personal information and send you a welcome letter. You'll also receive access to our patient portal. Be sure to download Prelude Connect and complete your evaluation at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
In most cases, we recommend having blood tests done ahead of your appointment. These can be completed at any reputable laboratory of your choice. If you've previously visited another fertility clinic or have had recent blood tests done outside our office, please bring copies of those records to your consultation.
The Initial Consultation
Since COVID-19, initial consultations at our Burnaby clinic have been conducted virtually rather than in person. During your consultation, our fertility specialist will review your recent lab results and ask about your medical and reproductive history. This is also a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
