Dr. Amrita Pooni

Dr. Pooni is double board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Canada in Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. After completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences at McMaster University, she returned to UBC for medical school and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Thereafter, she attended McGill University for her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Pooni is a strong proponent of the fertility journey, not only seeing it for the end goal, but ensuring her patients are heard, well informed, and well supported throughout their process to their ideal family.
Her practice centers on providing patients with informed access to well-substantiated innovative medical care. She strives to be available for her patients and provides comprehensive holistic care, and individualized treatment through the application of cutting-edge, evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Pooni is very excited to have joined the PCRM family and is keen to continue her mentorship and research as a clinical associate professor at UBC.
